Affiliate Benefits

On behalf of the Golden Isles Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, we appreciate your interest in becoming an Affiliate of our local Association. Our goal is to promote and benefit REALTORS®, our Affiliates, and the public through education, community service, and involvement. You gain access to a variety of benefits on a local and state level, and we will provide you with the countless opportunities to network and get your brand out there to the Golden Isles Real Estate Community.

By joining our association, you are taking part in one of the largest networks of real estate professionals in the Golden Isles, not to mention, the Association with one of the most diverse Affiliate communities in the state!

Sponsor an Education Class or a New Member Onboarding Class

GIAR hosts many education classes for real estate agents every month. Requests to sponsor a class are on a first-come-first-serve basis to Affiliate Members only.

What does this entail?

Provide the students with either breakfast or lunch, depending on the time of the class.
GIAR staff will provide you with a head count, any food allergies, etc., a day before the class to ensure that you have enough food and/or snacks.
When we contact you about sponsoring, we'll discuss how you'd like to engage with attendees. Options include:
- Arriving early for one-on-one networking.
- Hosting a happy hour after the class.
- Providing lunch and staying longer.
- Other creative ideas (e.g., a business card drawing for a coffee date).
You may arrive 30-40 minutes before class to set up and prepare.
As students arrive, you will be able to mingle and chat among the students, instructor, or staff.
Before the class begins, you will have 10-15 minutes to introduce yourself and talk about your field of work to the entire class. You may also bring any flyers, brochures, and merch that you have and pass them out to the class.
Pictures will be taken and posted to our website and Facebook page.
We'll work with you to create a successful event. Give us all of your ideas!

Sponsor and Attend the Annual Banquet

Each year, the Association hosts their Annual Awards Banquet to honor REALTORS® on their years of work as well as Affiliates who have been very involved and gone the "Extra Mile".

The Banquet Planning Committee works hard all year to plan every detail making sure that our members feel loved and honored.

We ask that Affiliates take up the mantle with our REALTORS® and stay informed on the political welfare of our industry. By supporting the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC), you become a vital pillar to one of the most influential political groups in Georgia and the U.S. As an Association, we work to provide you with the most up-to date and accurate information regarding the State of Real Estate on Capitol Hill.
